Telehandlers and Rough Terrain
Operating these heavy-duty behemoths requires special skills. More robust than their indoor counterparts, they require constant risk assessments. Compared to their indoor counterparts, they are aggressively quick and powerful. Despite being easy to use, trained professionals should only operate these vehicles. Standard access equipment and forklifts are not purpose-built for uneven terrain. Whereas telehandlers and rough terrain trucks designated workplace is the great outdoors. These machines are capable of withstanding elemental challenges, like rainwater and icy conditions. Plus, should the event call for it, they can readily take on mud and snow.
Due to their flexibility, telehandlers have superseded rough terrain forklifts in many industries. For all intents and purposes, telehandlers forklifts are essentially miniature cranes. Each truck is equipped with articulated steering. This means that the front and rear halves of the loader are connected by a juncture.
